It was another ordinary hot day for the delhites but not for me. It was 7 o'clock in the evening, with me ready to embrace an experience that I would not forget for the rest of my life-my first flight and also my holiday abroad! The flight was at 11o’clock. At the first look the airport obviously looked wonderful, airline counters and people waiting in long queues-looking bored-I never understood then that how could something so magnificent not fascinate them !?! Well, back to my journey-we completed the formalities and that moment had arrived for which I had reserved a special space up there in my brain. After taxiing a bit, the plane propelled itself forward and I felt a current run through my body in a way it never did before. I stuck my face to the window to get the best view that the skies could offer me. As we ascended I got cosy in a blanket and all I remember is waking up after feeling a bump, the plane had landed and as I looked out of the window I found snow on the edges of the runway. The plane came to a halt, and we got down the plane to find a van waiting for us just in front of the plane. We reached the VIP terminal where we completed the formalities, took our luggage, and then went back to the guest house after a short but a fast drive. There ended my first flight, a cold night and marked the beginning of my first trip abroad.
And then, i completely agreed to Leonardo Da Vinci---
When once you have tasted flight, you will forever walk the earth with your eyes turned skyward.
